The largest land predator to have lived, this carnivorous dinosaur reached 52 feet in length and was larger than the Tyrannosaurus rex. It had webbed toes, allowing it to move quickly in a watery or swampy environment to catch its prey of ammonites, fish, sawfish and other marine life. The Spinosaurus was featured in the third movie in the Jurassic Park trilogy. This animal lived in the Cretaceous period, dating back 145 to 65 million years ago.
